After Sfridoo’s intervention, the company was able to turn what was a burden into an opportunity: the 40 tons of rectifying sludge, instead of being a cost, began to generate a gain of 1€/ton per year. This allowed the company not only to completely lower its disposal costs, but also to monetize a previously unvalued resource.
