An industrial company that produced significant amounts of grinding sludge turned to Sfridoo for the valorization of this waste. Before Sfridoo’s intervention, the company had to manage about 1,000 tons of this waste per year, with a disposal cost of €450 per ton, for a total of €450,000 per year.
Thanks to its know-how, Sfridoo was able to implement a strategy for the valorization of grinding sludge, which allowed it to reduce the disposal cost to 170€ per ton. This intervention, which did not require any additional investment on the part of the company, resulted in an economic saving of 62% on the total cost of waste management.
