The Sfridoo team collaborated with a company in the industrial sector to enhance and lower the cost of grinding sludge disposal. The company was handling 400 tons of this sludge per year at a cost of €450 per ton, for a total of €180,000 per year.
Thanks to Sfridoo’s intervention, the company was able to convert a disposal cost into a source of revenue: it now manages the same 400 tons of sludge per year, but at a profit of €1 per ton, completely reversing the situation.
