Before Sfridoo's intervention, the company had to manage about 1,000 tons of this waste per year, with a disposal cost of €450 per ton, for a total of €450,000 per year. Thanks to its know-how, Sfridoo was able to implement a strategy for the valorization of grinding sludge, which allowed it to reduce the disposal cost to 170€ per ton. This intervention, which did not require any additional investment on the part of the company, resulted in an economic saving of 62% on the total cost of waste management.
